The PRINT DAL67816SM features a sophisticated eight over sixteen shed double layer weave that combines high fiber support with very high drainage capacity. Extra CD yarns on the paper side optimize retention, while the sixteen shed wear side with large diameter CD crimp delivers superior wear potential. The more pronounced CD crimp on the machine side provides excellent protection for MD warp yarns and increases abrasion resistance for longer fabric life. The fabric's rugged design withstands high machine direction loads and offers outstanding resistance to CD ridging. This versatile fabric performs reliably across printing and writing paper, light weight kraft, and board grades including top and under-top layers.
