Additionally, PTFE has a fractional coefficient that is very low (0.04) and its not easy to adhere to any substance. Its dielectric performance is independent of temperature and frequency.

PTFE woven mesh is also non-toxic and its chemical properties are inert. It has lead content of less than 10-11 grams/milliliter, and uranium content of less than 10-12 grams/milliliter. Its lightweight also makes it easier to install and replace compared to a metal woven mesh.
