Stainless steel knitted wire mesh is widely used as demister pad in gas-liquid separator, for its superior performance compared with other types of woven wire mesh. Besides demister, stainless steel knitted wire mesh is also employed for oil-gas separator, dust, engine silencers, and mechanical damping purposes.
Material stainless steel knitted wire mesh are made of AISI201, 202, 301, 302, 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316 L, as well as galvanized wire, redrawing wire, brass wire, copper wire, titanium wire, alloy wire, nickel wire, nylon wire, PE wire, fiberglass wire, with different wire diameter ranging from 0.10 to 0.55mm, usually in flat wire or round wire shape. Most common wire diameters used are 0.20mm - 0.25mm.
In terms of hole size and width, stainless steel knitted wire mesh can be made of 4mm×3mm, 5mm×6mm, 2mmx4mm, 4mmx5mm, 40mm, 80mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500 mm, 600mm, etc.
