Grade Characteristics & Applications
Nickel 200
Commercially pure wrought nickel with exceptional resistance to reducing chemicals. Suitable for oxidizing conditions that form passive oxide films. Limited to service below 315°C due to graphitization risk at higher temperatures.
Nickel 201
Low-carbon version of Nickel 200, designed for applications above 315°C. Resists embrittlement from carbon precipitation but requires protection from sulfur compounds at elevated temperatures.
