Nickel 200 is a commercially pure wrought nickel with 99.6% purity, featuring excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to corrosive environments. This alloy exhibits magnetic and magnetostrictive properties, high thermal and electrical conductivities, low gas content, and low vapor pressure.
Nickel 200: Optimal performance below 600°F (315°C)
Nickel 201: Recommended for temperatures above 600°F (315°C) up to 1250°F (677°C)

Nickel 200/201 provides exceptional resistance to caustic alkalies, including molten states. The low carbon content ensures immunity to intergranular attack above 315°C. Excellent performance in reducing conditions with good resistance to acids and alkalis.
