Commercially pure wrought nickel with high resistance to various reducing chemicals. Can be used in oxidizing conditions that form a passive oxide film, offering unexcelled resistance to caustic alkalis. Limited to service temperatures below 315°C due to graphitization at higher temperatures.
Low-carbon version of Nickel 200, designed for applications above 315°C. Not subject to embrittlement by intergranularly precipitated carbon or graphite when exposed to temperatures of 315-760°C for prolonged periods.
