45CT NiCrTi Thermal Spray Wire - 42-46% Chromium Nickel Alloy for Boiler Protection up to 1800°F
45CT NiCrTi Arc Thermal Spray Wire is a specialized nickel-chromium-titanium alloy wire engineered specifically for boiler applications. This second-generation material replaces 06BXP and delivers coatings with exceptional resistance to corrosive vanadium and sulfur gases in boiler atmospheres.
This material provides long-term protection for boiler tubes against high-temperature sulfidation. The wrought material demonstrates high resistance to sulfur/vanadium atmospheres up to 1800°F, with field data showing a corrosion rate of just 2 mil per year over nine years in super heater sections. Coatings applied to boiler tubes have shown virtually no thickness loss or spalling after 24 months of continuous service.
