Material Advantages
Copper foam exhibits exceptional air permeability with nearly all interconnected pores, providing large specific surface area and low bulk density for superior performance in various applications.
Manufacturing Process
Produced using polyurethane soft foam substrates through pretreatment, chemical deposition, electrodeposition, incineration, and thermal reduction processes. This creates a three-dimensional network pore structure with high porosity (>95%) and excellent tensile strength. Manufacturing methods include powder metallurgy (adding foaming agents to molten metal) and electroplating (replicating metal foam on polyurethane skeletons).
