Monel Alloy Series Overview
Monel 400 is a copper-nickel alloy with exceptional corrosion resistance properties. It demonstrates excellent performance in saltwater and seawater environments with superior resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy offers outstanding resistance to hydrofluoric acid and hydrochloric acid, making it widely applicable in chemical processing, oil and gas, and marine industries.
Common applications include valve and pump components, electronic parts, chemical processing equipment, gasoline and freshwater storage tanks, petroleum refining systems, propeller shafts, marine fixtures and fasteners, boiler feedwater heaters, and various heat exchanger configurations.
