Quarter cut White Oak veneer is produced by slicing the log at a right angle to the growth rings, resulting in a straight, tight, and uniform grain pattern. This method often reveals distinctive ray flecks, which are silvery, flake-like patterns unique to white oak. The veneer has a light to medium brown color with excellent stability and a refined, elegant look. It is widely used in high-end furniture, cabinetry, doors, and architectural paneling—especially in classic, craftsman, and contemporary designs.
