Premium 100% Kevlar aramid yarn woven rope specifically engineered for glass tempering furnace applications. This specialized rope withstands extreme temperatures while protecting glass during the tempering process.
Product Overview
Kevlar fiber webbing delivers exceptional high-temperature performance, maintaining structural integrity at temperatures up to 330°C continuously. The material begins carbonization at 427°C and can withstand instantaneous exposure to 560°C. These thermal properties, combined with superior tensile strength, make it ideal for high-temperature industrial applications.
In glass tempering furnaces, aramid ropes wrap around rollers to facilitate smooth transportation of heated glass. After glass reaches high temperatures in the furnace, rapid cooling occurs through wind grids. Kevlar roller ropes effectively protect high-temperature glass from contacting low-temperature metal roller tables, preventing cold explosions and surface scratches.
