Industry Centrifugal Pump Working Conditions

1. Horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps are suitable for transporting clear water and substances whose physical and chemical properties are similar to clear water. The volume of solid insoluble matter does not exceed 0.1℅ per unit volume, and the particle size is ≤2㎜.

2. Medium temperature of horizontal multistage centrifugal pump: -15℃～80℃

3. Working pressure of horizontal multistage centrifugal pump: system pressure ≤ 3.0MPa.

That is: system pressure = inlet pressure + pressure when the pump is working ≤ 3.0MPa.

4. The temperature of the surrounding environment should be lower than 40°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 95℅.

5. Since the main parts of this type of pump are made of cast iron, the conveyed medium should not be highly corrosive.

Multistage Centrifugal Pump is designed with two or more impellers.The impellers are mounted on the same shaft.The pumped fluid is discharged from an impeller and volute and immediately enters the next impeller and volute.Multi-stage centrifugal pumps use multiple impellers and volutes in series to achieve pressure.If high pressures at the outlet are required, impellers can be connected in series whereas for high flow output, the pumps are typically connected parallel.
