Pulp pumps are used in wastewater treatment systems of paper mills. In the papermaking process, a large amount of wastewater containing pollutants such as pulp fibers and chemical agents will be generated. Pulp pumps can transport these wastewaters from the workshop discharge point to the primary sedimentation tank of the wastewater treatment workshop for preliminary sedimentation treatment to separate the solid impurities, and then transport the treated wastewater to subsequent treatment links such as biological treatment tanks and secondary sedimentation tanks. After a series of treatments, the wastewater meets the standards for discharge or reuse. For example, some modern paper mills use closed circulating water systems, in which pulp pumps play a key role in water circulation power, which not only reduces the waste of water resources, but also reduces pollution to the environment.
In the chemical addition system of the paper mill, pulp pumps are used to transport various papermaking chemicals, such as sizing agents, retention agents, defoaming agents, etc. These chemicals need to be accurately added to the pulp. The pulp pump can transport the chemicals to the pulp mixing equipment at a suitable flow rate and pressure according to the process requirements to ensure that the chemicals are evenly distributed in the pulp, thereby improving the performance and quality of the paper.
