In axial piston fixed pumps, a swash plate or a swash shaft mechanism is usually used. When the drive shaft rotates, it causes the piston to reciprocate axially. For example, in a swash plate type axial piston fixed pump, the piston is connected to a swash plate. When the drive shaft rotates, the piston moves back and forth along the cylinder bore due to the tilt of the swash plate. This reciprocating motion of the piston draws in liquid through the oil inlet and then forces the liquid out through the oil outlet, forming a continuous flow of hydraulic oil and generating pressure. Axial piston fixed pump is a type of hydraulic pump. It plays an important role in hydraulic system by converting mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. The working principle of this pump is the axial movement of the piston. The piston moves parallel to the axis of the pump, and this movement is used to displace the fluid and generate hydraulic pressure.

High-pressure capability: Axial piston stationary pumps are capable of producing very high hydraulic pressures. Variable displacement: As mentioned earlier, the displacement of the pump can be varied by adjusting the angle of the swash plate or the inclination of the shaft. This variable displacement capability allows for precise control of the flow of hydraulic fluid. In applications such as variable speed hydraulic motors or servo-controlled hydraulic systems, this ability to adjust the displacement is critical for precise control of the speed and force of the system.

 

High efficiency: Such pumps typically have high volumetric and mechanical efficiencies. High volumetric efficiency means that most of the fluid drawn by the pump is actually delivered to the hydraulic system, minimizing internal leakage. High mechanical efficiency means that a large portion of the input mechanical energy is converted into useful hydraulic energy, reducing energy losses due to friction and other factors.
