A hydraulic ball valve is a type of valve used in hydraulic systems to control the flow of fluid. It consists of a hollow, perforated ball with a hole (port) in the middle. The ball is positioned within a valve body, and when the valve is open, the port aligns with the pipeline to allow fluid to flow through. When the valve is closed, the ball rotates to block the port, stopping the flow of fluid.

A ball valve is a flow control device which uses a hollow, perforated, and pivoting ball to control fluid flowing through it. It is open when the hole through the middle of the ball is in line with the flow inlet, and closed when it is pivoted 90 degrees by the valve handle, blocking the flow.
