Overview for Mesh Belt Drying Furnace

PHT Series Mesh Belt drying furnace is particularly suitable for drying for small workpieces such as metals, ceramics continuously, usually for the complete removal of water or impurities. Belt speed could be adjusted according to heat treatment processes. The drying furnace temperature could be adjusted from RT-500°C, constant working temperature, independent temperature control Intelligent temperature controller, PID automatic calculation, LED display, with SCR power silicon controlled, which can accurately control the precision of temperature.

Safety Measures

 

  • Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
  • Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
  • Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes

 

  • However, toxic or explosive gases that may generate from the sample during the heating are not recommended for use with the mesh belt drying furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
