Product Overview for Hybrid Muffle Furnace

Hybrid muffle furnace PH L3/12 integrates a chamber muffle furnace and a tube furnace in one, compact, light weight, easy to operate. Designs with inlet and outlet ports on the quartz tube with sealing flange attached in the chamber. A compact hybrid muffle furnace could be used for materials heat treatment processing under atmosphere or vacuum condition at a max working temperature of 1200℃, applicable for material sintering, heating preparation of Li battery, Carbon, graphene materials etc..

• One-end closed 2″ quartz tube, a tube block, and a corresponding sealing flange and pressure gauge
• Fiber-insulated chamber for maximum temperature stability and uniformity
• HRE Heating wire Embedded heating wire on three sides give an improved temperature gradient
• Programmable muffle furnace with PID temperature controller 32 segments
• Type N thermocouple. Equips two pcs, one for temperature testing, the other for protection

Safety Measures

• Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes

• However, toxic or explosive gases that may generate from the sample during the heating are not recommended for use with this programmable muffle furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
• Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
