Heat Treatment Muffle Furnace features high alumina ceramic fiber insulated with powerful heaters, enables samples to be heat-treated at temperatures exceeding 1700°C (3092°F). Therefore the heat treatment muffle furnace is an ideal tool for high-temperature laboratory heat treatment applications such as heat treating, reacting studies, sintering processes, ignition tests and ceramic firing etc.

Safety Measures

• The muffle oven furnace with built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

• However, toxic or explosive gases that may generate from the sample during the heating are not recommended for use with this muffle furnace 1200 C without necessary safety controls and supervision.
• Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
