Product Overview

PTR D300/600/12 is a large single heating heating zone, tilting and rotary tube furnace, the furnace body can be tilting to 90°/ vertically, the furnace is designed with two semi circular chamber with embedded alloy coil wire. The furnace tube is made of 310SS stainless steel tube with built in stirring blade, the effective loading volume is 10L, and the rotating speed could be adjusted ranges 0.1-5rmp. Especially suitable for the heat treatment process of granular materials, such as calcining ceramic oxide and graphite powder etc.

Safety Measures

• Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

• The rotary tube furnace is mainly consists of seven parts namely furnace body, 310S processing tube, sealing flanges, gas supplying system, lifting system, rotating system and temp controlling system

Heating chamber with metal tube for the 1200°C raotry tube furnace

• The furnace is made of two semicircular ceramic fiber materials, vacuum filtered, and tightly coupled in one piece. Embedded HRE alloy resistance wire with temperature up to 1200℃
• Heating zone length 600mm and OD 300mm metal tube
• The processing tube is made of 310S welded tube, surface polishing,heat resistant to 1100℃,middle heating tube OD300mm, non-heating zone OD120mm, 3 horizontal equal distance stirring paddles welded inside the tube, materials heat evenly during the rotating process. rotating speed could be adjustable.
• Equipped with a hydraulic station and hydraulic cylinder, the furnace body can be tilted to 90° for easy unloading.
• N type thermocouple on furnace chamber top

304SS sealing flange, furnace tube supports, 1/4" pagoda gas nozzle

• Equipped with SS304 sealing flange accessories for materials fast loading and unloading, sealed with high-temperature resistant fluorine rubber sealing rings
• The air inlet and outlet adopts G1/4-inch pagoda air nozzle, which can be connected to a PTFE pipe with an outer diameter of 8mm. Max vacuum can reach 10*-7torr
• Equipped with air cooling system on tube end top

Technical Specifications

Application Notes

• Quartz tube pressure should be lower 0.02MPa
• Gas source should equip the pressure reducing valve
• Before filling reduction gases like H2, should pump the air out of the tube
• When filling gases from gas inlet in the tube, should make sure the gas outlet valve open
