PTV D40/300/14 is a customized vertical hydrogen tube furnace with PLC automatic gas displacement and tail gas ignition. Features with an 40 mm diameter alumina processing tube, SiC heating elements, The temperature of the vertical tube furnace is controlled by a high-precision SCR power controller with accuracy +/-1C and 32 segments programs. It is designed for the heat treatment of various types of new materials under Hydrogen or other gas conditions up to 1400C.

Safety Measures

• Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

• The vertical hydrogen tube furnace is mainly consists of seven parts: furnace body, alumina tube, sealing flange parts, gas supplying system, ignition system, PLC temperature controlling system and mobile support
• The furnace outer steel shell is processed with pickling and phosphating, environment powder coating on the surface, corrosion and oxidation resistance, built-in cooling fan, surface temperature Rt+45℃

• 7" touchscreen panel, individual controlling cabinet

• Equipped with a remote control module

Two-channel gas supplying system

• Equipped with SS304 quick-opening flange accessories for materials fast loading and unloading, sealed with high-temperature resistant fluorine rubber sealing rings
• Solenoid valve for gas filling. The air inlet and outlet adopts G1/4-inch pagoda air nozzle, which can be connected to a PTFE pipe with an outer diameter of 8mm. Max vacuum can reach 10*-7torr
• Equipped with adjustable flange brackets to ensure safe and stable operation of the furnace tube

Hydrogen ignition device

• Equip hydrogen device, the reducing gas is burned at the gas outlet
• When the thermocouple detects that the temperature is lower than the set value (set to 200-300 degrees), it will re-ignite. If it cannot ignite within 30 seconds, an alarm will sound, and it will be filled with nitrogen for protection, which is safe and reliable.
• Double ferrule joints; gas float flowmeter, the flow rate is adjustable ranges 60-600ml/min
• Available gases: N2, Ar, H2, CO etc.

NOTE: When filling reducing gas, check valves, one-way valves, exhaust gas treatment systems, etc. need to be configured

Technical Specifications

Application Notes

• Furnace tube pressure should be lower 0.02MPa
• Gas source should equip the pressure reducing valve
• Before filling reduction gases like H2, should pump the air out of the tube
• When filling gases from gas inlet in the tube, should make sure the gas outlet valve open
