Product Overview
PTR D170/900/17 is a highly customized CE-certified large-diameter OD170mm large-scale chlorine atmosphere continuous production rotary tube furnace. The furnace body designed in a double-layer sealed furnace shell with a micro-positive pressure working system for safety operation under Chlorine. Equips a complete vacuum water cooling sealing flange. The furnace tube adopts a recrystallized silicon carbide tube with temperature resistance up to 1600°C, tube loading volume 10L, rotating speed 1-10rmp, output is 4L/hour. The tube furnace is equipped with a feeding box, a discharging box, gas inlets and outlets, and a rotation and tilt system. The single heating zone length 900mm and is independently controlled by a 7" PLC controlled touchscreen panel. It is the ideal furnace type for processing powder materials under Chlorine.

Safety Measures
- Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
- Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
- Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

- PTR D170/900/17 is mainly composed of dual layer air-tight pressurized shell, ceramic fiber chamber, A Recrystallized SiC rotary tube, sealing flange sets, material charging and discharging system, gas supplying system, lifting system, rotary system, watering cooling system, chlorine exhaust gas filting system and PLC controlling system.

PLC Controlling system
- Material feeding speed, rotating speed, tilt angle and other functions are integrated on the PLC control panel, precise and easy controlling

Feeding&discharging box design and water cooling flanges
- Both the feeding and discharging boxes are flange sealed and equipped with vibrating device for automatic material filling. Material output could be adjusted by a screw feeder and the inclination angle of the furnace body
- Customized OD170mm recrystallized silicon carbide tube with temperature resistance up to 1600°C, and the Pressurized steel shell prevents Chlorine gas escape from the processing tube
- The chlorine tail gas is discharged from the air outlet into the gas purification sealed box. After filtering, it can be discharged outdoors.
Internal operating status of chlorine rotary furnace tubes
- U type MoSi2 heator, temperature resistant up to 1700C
- A quartz transparent observation window is reserved at the discharge end of the furnace tube, internal operating conditions can be observed in real time
- OD40mm alumina tube with 500mm length inserted the tube to capture part of the corrosive or harmful gases in the tube and discharge them to the outside

Application Notes
- The processing tube pressure should be lower 0.02MPa
- Gas source should equip the pressure reducing valve
- Before filling reduction gases like H2, should pump the air out of the tube
