2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Bar Overview
Duplex 2205 is a two-phase ferritic-austenitic stainless steel alloy containing 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, and 5-6% nickel. As the most widely used duplex stainless steel grade, it offers exceptional mechanical properties including yield strength twice that of standard austenitic stainless steels, excellent fatigue resistance, and superior corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
