317L Stainless Steel Hex Bar Overview
317L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel containing molybdenum, featuring enhanced chromium, nickel, and molybdenum content for superior corrosion resistance against sulfurous acid, acetic acid, formic acid, citric acid, and tartaric acid. Its low carbon composition provides resistance to sensitization during welding, along with higher creep, rupture stress, and high-temperature tensile strength. Non-magnetic in the annealed state, it may become slightly magnetic after welding.
