304 Food Grade Stainless Steel Plate Hygienic 0.5mm-6mm Kitchen Equipment

304 is the general purpose austenitic stainless steel used throughout the food and catering industry. With 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel, it resists rust, food acids and cleaning chemicals, and its smooth non porous surface is easy to wash and sanitize, helping equipment meet hygiene standards.

It is non magnetic in the annealed condition, tough and easy to fabricate, so it can be pressed, drawn and welded into tanks, benches and panels. HYX supplies 304 plate from 0.5mm to 6mm with certification suitable for food contact equipment and general industrial use.

Food grade 304 plate is used for work tables, sinks, storage tanks, mixing vessels, conveyors and machine housings in restaurants, bakeries, dairies and food processing plants. Its hygienic surface and resistance to food acids make it a standard choice for equipment that contacts food and drinks.

Every lot is checked for surface quality, thickness and chemical composition, and shipped with a mill test certificate to EN 10204 3.1. HYX can arrange SGS or BV inspection where independent verification is required by the buyer or end user.

Sheets are protected with PVC film, strapped into bundles and wrapped in waterproof paper on wooden pallets for container loading. Export packing prevents scratches, moisture and edge damage in transit and can be adapted to the handling and storage needs of each customer.
