INSTRUCTIONS
|
1.Use the cutting tool (MTL20/MTL30/MTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes. |
|
2.Place a M0600 splice clip (teeth up) on the (MTL00/MTL10/MTL50) splice tool’s placement pins. |
|
3.Center both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on the pins, and secure with the clamps. |
|
4.Crimp the tool handle to connect the carrier tapes. |
| 5.Remove the release liner of the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side. |
| 6.Add a single strip to the cover tape and press firmly to complete the splice. |
