INSTRUCTIONS
|
1. Use the cutting tool (MTL20/MTL30/MTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes. |
|
2. Place a splice clip (teeth up) on the splice tool’s placement pins. |
|
3. Center both cut carrier tapes on the pins, and secure with the clamps. |
|
4. Crimp the handle to connect the carrier tapes. |
|
5. Remove the release liner of the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side. |
| 6. Fold over the tape strip onto the cover tape and press firmly. |
| 7. Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splice. |
