Double Splice Tapes are used to join SMT component carrier tapes. Supplied in pre-cut strips of |
| PET tape, use without the splice tool and clip. Each piece has 10 embossed dots on either side to |
| help align with the carrier tape. Three kinds of anti-static, half anti-static and non anti-static. |

INSTRUCTIONS
|
1. Use the cutting tool (MTL20/MTL30/MTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes. |
|
2. Remove the release liner of the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side. |
|
3. Align the holes of the carrier tapes (cover tape down) with the guide indentations. |
|
4. Place both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape. |
|
5. Fold over the second strip to the underside of the carrier tape and press firmly. |
| 6. Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splice. |
