M28 series double splice tape is used for FUJI Machine jointing carrier tapes in the SMT process. A |
| similar design for Fuji machines with an intelligent feeder. Each size has placement holes that can |
| be used with the alignment jigs. It is made of 2 tapes, release paper and PET material with superior |
| adhesion. |

INSTRUCTIONS
|
1. Use the cutting tool to accurately cut the carrier tapes. |
|
2. Remove the release liner of the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side. |
|
3. Align the cut carrier tapes (cover tape down) with the splice tape placement holes. |
|
4. Place both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape. |
|
5. Fold over the second strip to the underside of the carrier tape and press firmly. |
|
6. Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splice. |
