Product Description:
Hex-mesh is a hexagonal cellular mesh grating which has been designed for both linings and flooring reinforcement. It has been created as a surface framework so that cement or refractory material can be held in position, and also takes away some of the stress which would otherwise be held by the lining's upper crust. As a result, spalling and cracking are avoided and the refractory's lifespan is extended.
Hex-mesh is incredibly strong and its unique design also helps to reduce abrasion and corrosion. Even hot gaseous substances which would usually erode the refractory material are prevented from doing so, due to the metal cellular grid reflecting them away from the surface.
