Double wire mesh fence, also called twin wire mesh fence, is an extremely strong and rigid mesh fence system with a special structure. The fence consists of double horizontal wires welded to single vertical wires. This makes for a sturdier and more stable fence than the common fence. In other words, the double wire fence panel is built with two thick horizontal rods attached on both sides of the panel, making it popular on the European market.
The double wire mesh fence has a variety of technical characteristics, such as wire diameters measuring 5/4/5 or 6/5/6 or 8/6/8 mm. The mesh size is 50 × 200 mm and the fence heights range from 1.23–2.43 m. It can be given a surface treatment where the fence is galvanized and coated with a polymeric composition coating that can withstand ultraviolet radiation and extremes of temperature. This is available in electro galvanized or hot dipped galvanized variants, with zinc levels measuring 20gram/square meter and 60gram-600gram/square meter respectively. It also comes in three colors, green RAL 6005, grey, and white. With regards to the posts, they measure 40*60*2mm or 60 × 60 ×2mm or 80 × 80 ×2mm and are mounted with a clip or bracket complete with through bolt.
