Working Principle
The Model 2088 utilizes imported pressure chips with sensitive components manufactured using diffusion or ion implantation technology. These components form resistances connected in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, with a pressure-sensitive diaphragm created through micromechanical processing. When pressure is applied to the diaphragm, resistance values change, generating a linear output signal proportional to the applied pressure. The Wheatstone bridge, powered by DC voltage, produces a DC voltage signal that is converted through secondary circuitry to achieve two-wire 4-20mA output.
