Installation of PALL Filter Element:
For the suction port of the pump, it is important to install a surface type oil filter to safeguard the hydraulic pump by filtering out larger impurities and particles. It is suggested that the filtering capacity should be more than twice the pump flow rate to maintain optimal performance. The pressure loss should not exceed 0.02 MPa.
When it comes to the outlet oil circuit of the pump, the purpose of installing an oil filter here is to protect components such as valves. The PALL filter element should be able to withstand the working pressure and impact pressure on the oil circuit and have a pressure drop of less than 0.35 MPa. The filtration accuracy required is between 10 to 15 μm. It is important to install a Safety valve to prevent oil filter blockage.
To serve as an indirect filter, the PALL filter element should be installed on the system's return oil line. Usually, a back pressure valve is installed in parallel with the filter. The back pressure valve opens when the filter becomes clogged and reaches a certain pressure value.
For the system branch oil circuit, it is suggested to install the PALL filter element to ensure the proper functioning of the hydraulic system.
