The ASCO series 551, 552, 553 pilot/air operated spool valves are designed with an all connectable exhaust port to provide improved environmental protection in hazardous areas. These spool valves are especially ideal for sensitive areas like clean rooms and applications in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries.

Features:

The monostable spool valves are now compliant with the IEC 61508 Standard (2010 route2H version) and have been certified by TÜV (551 series) and EXIDA (551-553 series) with integrity levels of SIL 2 for HFT = 0 and SIL 3 for HFT = 1.

These spool valves have threaded port connections and "NAMUR" style interface. They can also be adjusted to suit 3/2 NC or 5/2 functions for controlling double-acting and single-acting actuators.
