Burkert Solenoid Valve 6213EV 00222156 24VDC 10W 00221530 Stainless Steel
Product Description:
The Burkert Series 6213 features servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valves that are normally closed. These valves are distinguished by their compact design, high flow capacity, capability for zero-pressure startup, and minimal noise during operation. They are well-suited for handling water, as well as neutral and mildly corrosive fluids. Covering a range of nominal diameters from DN10 to DN40 and operating pressures up to 10 bar, these valves find extensive use across various sectors including water treatment, food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, and more.
The Series 6213 solenoid valve operates as a P/NC (normally closed) 2/2-way valve, with the inlet port designated as P. It incorporates a force-coupled diaphragm combined with a spring in a servo-assisted configuration to enhance performance. The standard model supports startup at zero differential pressure, although a minimum pressure difference of 0.1 bar is advisable to ensure full valve opening.
Additionally, a specialized HP00 version is available which can open without any pressure differential, making it an ideal choice for gas and vacuum applications. The valve’s damping mechanism effectively mitigates water hammer effects and lowers switching noise, resulting in both smooth operation and a quieter environment during use.

Applications:
This equipment is utilized for pipeline switching and flow control within systems such as tap water supply, sewage treatment, and the preparation of pure water. Featuring a 316L stainless steel valve body paired with FKM/EPDM seals, it effectively resists corrosion caused by residual chlorine and various impurities present in water. Additionally, its damping structure significantly reduces water hammer impacts in the pipelines.
The valve finds its application in filling machines, cleaning-in-place (CIP) systems, and ingredient transportation pipelines for beverages, dairy products, condiments, and other consumables. Built with a lead-free brass valve body, it complies with European standards for drinking water and food contact materials. Moreover, the valve's smooth internal surface minimizes the accumulation of media residues, ensuring compliance with the stringent hygiene requirements of the food and beverage sector.
Designed for on-off control of purified water, WFI (water for injection), and reagent fluids used in pharmaceutical production lines, this valve ensures high material compatibility and dependable sealing performance. These features prevent contamination of the media. Furthermore, an optional ATEX explosion-proof variant is available, making the valve suitable for use in hazardous areas within pharmaceutical workshops.
This valve is ideal for controlling compressed air pipelines, cooling water circulation in machine tools, and solvent transfer in chemical labs. Its compact design allows for installation in confined spaces with ease. The valve supports 100% ED (continuous duty) operation, fulfilling the requirements of long-term industrial equipment usage.
Employed in automatic irrigation systems, this valve manages the on-off operation of water channels and can be integrated with sensors to deliver precise water supply to crops. Its zero-pressure startup capability makes it well-suited for low-pressure water environments commonly found in agricultural irrigation settings.
