While it can't be hardened via heat treatment, it exhibits superior plasticity in annealed form, fair flexibility post semi-cold working hardening, but relatively limited flexibility following cold working hardening. Additionally, it showcases commendable corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, yet poor machinability. Its key features include corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, superior reflectivity, non-agnetism, weldability, and machinability. This alloy finds extensive use in diverse heat exchangers, kitchenware, food processing equipment, chemical storage units, liquid transportation tanks, pressure vessels, aircraft fuel tanks, oil pipelines, security caps, and covers.
