Due to the existence of alkali metal ions that are easily soluble in water, water-soluble alkaline substances remain after curing. This makes the water resistance of water glass poor, prone to regain moisture, and unsuitable for wet environments. Therefore, water glass-based materials must incorporate specific curing agents to enhance their water resistance and curing performance.
Common curing agents include metal oxides, inorganic acids, and fluorosilicates. However, these traditional curing agents have limitations. To address these shortcomings, a new water-soluble silicon phosphate curing agent was developed.
The water glass curing agent - water-soluble silicon phosphate is an environmentally friendly white powder that dissolves in water and maintains stability at high temperatures without forming colloids. It offers high curing efficiency, environmental safety, and excellent temperature resistance.

- Non-toxic or low-toxic with pollution-free production process
- Moderate curing speed without premature setting or non-condensing issues
- Superior post-curing performance meeting industry standards
- Effectively overcomes traditional curing agent limitations while being environmentally friendly
Beyond serving as a sodium silicate curing agent, insoluble silicon phosphate can be used as:
- Lime and cement curing agent
- Special optical glass component
- Inorganic coating ingredient
- High-strength cement and acid-resistant adhesive formulation
- Waterproof adhesive curing agent
- Non-toxic antirust coating and organic synthesis catalyst
6.1.1 Soak the insoluble silicon phosphate with a small amount of water or directly add the powder into the water glass solution, stirring evenly.
6.1.2 Dry process: The powder can be mixed directly with water glass powder for uniform application.
After adding the curing agent, water glass can be sealed for storage. Typical dosage ranges from 3-10% of the liquid water glass volume (adjust according to specific process requirements).
25kg/bag in plastic woven or kraft paper bags. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
