Lithium silicate, also known as lithium water glass, is a colorless to yellow, odorless, transparent or translucent weak alkaline liquid with a pH value of 11-12. The relative density and viscosity vary by product model, typically between 1.16-1.19 (25°C). It is soluble in water and alkaline solutions, insoluble in alcohol and organic solvents, and forms a water-insoluble dry film upon evaporation.
