Storage conditions

1. Clean and Dry: Before storing the cable, make sure it is clean and dry. Remove any dirt, debris, or adhesive residue from the cable and electrodes using a mild cleaning solution recommended by the manufacturer. Allow the cable to completely dry before storage to prevent moisture-related issues.

2. Keep it Tangle-Free: Avoid tangling or twisting the cable, as it can damage the internal wiring or connectors. Straighten out the cable and gently coil it in a loose, circular shape to prevent kinks or knots. You can use cable ties or Velcro straps to secure the coiled cable.

3. Protect from Physical Damage: Store the ECG Holter cable in a protective case or container to shield it from physical damage, such as being stepped on, crushed, or bent. Choose a storage solution that provides cushioning and prevents excessive pressure on the cable.

4. Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Store the cable in a temperature-controlled environment, away from extreme heat or cold. Exposure to high temperatures can damage the insulation or connectors, while extreme cold can make the cable more brittle. Aim for a moderate and stable temperature range.

5. Shield from Light: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or intense artificial light sources can degrade the cable's materials and affect its performance. Keep the cable stored in a dark or low-light area to minimize light exposure.
