High Strength Copper Contact Wire for Long Term in Railway Systems
High-Strength Copper Contact Wire for Long-Term in Railway Systems
Copper contact wire is an electrical connection device commonly used in electrified railway, urban rail transit, mine conveyor and other systems, and its main role is to transmit power. It is usually made of copper, has good conductivity and strength, and can withstand high strength mechanical and electrical loads.
The specifications of copper contact wire used in electrified railway mainly include 85mm², 110mm², 120mm², 150mm² and so on. The specifications of copper contact wires are usually classified according to their cross-sectional area, and different specifications of copper contact wires have different electrical properties and mechanical strengths to meet the needs of different electrified railways.
When choosing copper contact wire specifications, factors such as the running speed of the railway, load capacity, current capacity and other factors need to be considered to ensure that the contact wire can safely and reliably transmit electricity.
The advantages of copper contact wire include:
- Excellent conductivity: copper contact wire is made of high-quality copper material with good conductivity, which can ensure the efficiency and stability of power transmission.
- High strength and oxidation resistance: Copper contact wire is made of high quality materials with high strength and oxidation resistance, which can withstand high strength mechanical and electrical loads and is not easily affected by oxidation in long-term use.
- Easy to maintain: Copper contact wire has a simple structure, easy to maintain, and can be replaced with separate parts when damaged, making it easy to repair.
- Stable and reliable: Copper contact wire can ensure the stability and reliability of power transmission, thus ensuring the normal operation of the whole tram system.
