ColorOptics’ transceiver modules are high performance, cost effective modules supporting data rate of 4.25Gbps. Link lengths at 4.25Gbps:150 m with 50 um MMF, 70 m with 62.5 um MMF. Link lengths at 2.125Gbps: 300 m with 50 um MMF, 150 m with 62.5 um MMF. Link lengths at 1.0625Gbps:500 m with 50 um MMF, 300 m with 62.5 um MMF. The transceiver consists of three sections: a VCSEL laser transmitter, a PIN photo diode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements. The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement and SFF-8472 digital diagnostics functions.
