High Alumina Bricks are refractory materials composed of over 48% Al2O3 content. They are manufactured by molding and firing alumina or raw materials with elevated alumina content. These bricks possess a neutral refractory property, enabling them to withstand acid slag erosion. With a high thermal stability, they exhibit a refractoriness exceeding 1770℃.
These bricks demonstrate exceptional qualities including elevated refractoriness, robust strength, resistance to acid and washing erosion, and reliable thermal stability, among others.
High alumina bricks are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to meet the specific needs of different applications. They are also available in a variety of grades, depending on the required refractoriness and other properties.
According to different Al2O3 content, High Alumina Bricks can be classified into Three Grades in China.
* Grade I High Alumina Bricks have more than 75% Al2O3 content.
* Grade II High Alumina Bricks have 60~75% Al2O3 content.
* Grade III High Alumina Bricks have 48~60% Al2O3 content.
