"Fireclay bricks are composed of aluminum silicate materials with an Al2O3 content ranging from 30% to 45%. They possess a refractoriness of 1690 to 1730 ℃. These bricks are primarily constituted of kaolinite (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2O) as the primary mineral, along with around 6-7% impurities (including potassium, sodium, calcium, titanium, and ferrous oxide).
Categorized as weakly acidic refractory products, fireclay bricks can endure acid slag and gas erosion, but their resistance to alkaline substances is relatively low."
