Fused a-corndum brick is composed of about 50% of acorundum and β-corundum, The interlacing of the two crystalsforms a very dense structure and has excellent alka resistance. Its corosion resistance to molten glass rival AZS brick at temperatures below 1350'c. Because it contains almost no impurities such as Fe₂O₃,TiO₂, the matrix glass phase is very small. lt has excellent characteristics that forelgn matter such as bubbles is rarely generated when it comes into contact with molten glass liquld.so that it does not contaminate the molten glass.Therefore, it is most suitable for wall of working pool, pavement,feed channel and passage of high-rgrade glass kiln.
