2-Way Latex Foley Catheter is consists of a flexible tube made of latex with a balloon at one end and a drainage port at the other end. The balloon is inflated with sterile water after insertion into the bladder, which prevents the catheter from slipping out. The drainage port is connected to a collection bag for the urine to be collected. The 2-way Foley catheter is designed with two channels: one for inflating and deflating the balloon and the other for draining urine.
3-Way Latex Foley Catheter is similar to the 2-way Foley catheter but has an additional channel that terminates in a third port, which allows for continuous irrigation of the bladder. The catheter is made of latex and has a balloon at the tip that can be inflated with sterile water or saline solution to anchor it in place in the bladder. The two other ports of the catheter are used for drainage and injection of fluids or medications.
