BC1 series disc variable resistors are high-power adjustable resistors designed for electric welding machines, generators, and industrial control systems. These robust components provide precise current regulation with power ratings from 25W to 500W.

The BC1 variable resistor features high-quality resistance alloy wire wound around a C-type ceramic ring. The entire resistance ring is coated with non-combustible resin paint and fixed on a circular chassis using high-temperature baking processes. A central rotor drives the brush across the resistor body to achieve variable resistance values.
