Precautions

  1. Temperature Management: The battery should only be charged between 0°C to 55°C and discharged between -20°C to 55°C. Exceeding these limits can lead to reduced performance or damage to the cells
  2. Avoid Overloading: Ensure that the battery is not charged or discharged beyond its specified maximum current of 300A, as this can cause overheating or shorten the battery’s life
  3. Environmental Considerations: Keep the battery in a non-condensing environment with humidity less than 95%. Avoid placing the battery in areas where condensation or excessive moisture could occur, as this may lead to corrosion or short circuits
  4. Altitude Limit: Operate the battery only in locations where the altitude is below 4500 meters. At higher altitudes, performance may degrade due to lower air pressure affecting the cooling efficiency
  5. Proper Ventilation: Although the battery uses free cooling, make sure it’s installed in a well-ventilated area to allow for adequate air circulation, preventing overheating
  6. Storage Precautions: If the battery is not in use, store it in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C to prevent cell degradation and ensure optimal performance upon reactivation
  7. Handle with Care: With a weight of 149kg, ensure proper handling and installation procedures to avoid injury or damage to the battery. Using proper mounting brackets and securing the battery is crucial for safe installation
  8. Protection Level: If using the standard IP20 version, avoid installing the battery in outdoor or overly dusty environments. For greater protection, opt for the IP65-rated version for semi-outdoor installations.
