Three cone drill bit is a commonly used tool in the fields of oil drilling, geological exploration, mining excavation, etc. It is mainly composed of three rotatable cones, which help the drill bit break rocks in the formation. This type of drill bit combines multi angle cutting and rolling crushing to meet the drilling needs of various formations.

The main structures that make up a roller drill bit include the drill bit body, three rollers, bearing system, nozzle, and tooth surface structure. The teeth on the roller cone are divided into two types: hard alloy teeth or steel teeth. The roller cone is supported by a supporting structure installed below the body, and the roller cone shaft is fixed inside the bearing structure, allowing it to withstand loads in different directions. The drill bit usually has a drilling fluid channel inside, which is designed with a nozzle to enhance the cleaning effect of rock debris. During the working process, the rotation of the drill bit drives the roller cone to roll and come into contact with the rock. Under the action of axial pressure and rotation, the teeth continuously feed into the fractured rock mass of the formation. After fragmentation, the debris is carried away from the working area by the drilling fluid. During the rolling process, there is a sliding motion that enhances the cutting force of the tooth surface on rocks. The bearing system is responsible for supporting the roller cone to withstand drilling pressure and torque, and its performance directly affects the working life of the drill bit.
