"Plastic Beta Ring random packing utilizes a unique, proprietary construction of slots, tabs, and spokes to provide excellent surface area for effective gas and liquid contact and improved separation efficiency, meanwhile, it provide additional drip points to enhance liquid film surface renewal for improved mass and heat transfer.
The open structure and perferred vertical orientation inhibits fouling by allowing solids to be more easily flushed through the bed by the liquid."
