Replacing the distribution valve of a Hitachi excavator usually requires several steps to be followed. Here is a general guide to how to do it:

Steps
Preparation:
Make sure the excavator is in a stable state and turn off the engine.
Disconnect the power supply for safety.
Remove the old distribution valve:
Find the loion of the distribution valve, usually in the hydraulic system.
Use a wrench to remove the connected hydraulic pipe, pay attention to the possibility of hydraulic oil leakage, and prepare a cleaning cloth.
Remove the screws that fix the distribution valve and gently remove the old valve.
Install the new distribution valve:
Align the new distribution valve to the installation position, making sure the gasket is intact.
Fix the distribution valve and tighten the screws.
Reconnect the hydraulic pipe to ensure that the connection is secure.
Filling hydraulic oil:
Check the hydraulic oil level and add new oil if necessary.
Test:
Start the excavator and check the operation of the distribution valve.
Make sure there is no oil leakage and observe whether all functions are normal.
