This processor features a sophisticated signal processing circuit equipped with a digital signal processor. The digital processor generates a refined video signal that can be indirectly displayed on video screens from image signals produced by charge coupled device sensors. An auxiliary correction circuit creates additional video signals that are directly displayable on video screens, compatible with both video endoscopes and endoscopic cameras.
